Successful Student Retention
From the
Administrative Management Perspective
Program Investigation
Program Purpose

Three institutions were investigated in order to obtain information regarding their current student retention program. These institutions included Ball State University, Ivy Tech Community College, and Indiana Wesleyan University. Each of these post-secondary institutions' programs are designed to encourage the successful retention of students through various program components.

Case Selection

These three insitutions were selected based upon our groups members' affiliation with the school. Each of the institutions had a diverse student population and mission to increase student retention. These selected institutions represent both two and four year schools that are both public and private. We chose these schools so that our program design could be applicable to the majority of two and four year institutions across the United States.
