Suggestions for practitioners interested in organizing educational programs:

     · Understand the needs of the individuals being served by your program and do all you can to                   formulate your program around the needs of these learners


     · Know the organizational mission; incorporate your program into the purpose of the organization 

     · Analyze the budget of the organization and determine how you are going to successfully fund

       your program


     · Build connections with administrators who can have a great impact on your educational      

       program’s effectiveness; seek out guidance and support from them when necessary



     · Be open-minded: Always think about potential ideas to improve your program and understand

       that while many ideas may be successful, not all ideas are going to be effective in practice
